5 Ways To Accomplish Your Goals

The focal point in my life lately has been establishing and completing goals. Nothing is more important to me right now. I know that in order for me to have the life that I dream of, certain things have to happen. I know that a lot of other people want more out of life.

1. Define what it is that you want.

If you don’t know what you’re looking for, then how are you ever going to find it? Be very specific about what you want. Do not hold back. For example, my dream life is to eventually work remotely (my own business) and travel the world. The quicker that I establish that dream, the sooner I can take steps to eventually have that life.

2. Define your action steps.

What is it that you have to do to get to your dream life? Don’t look at it as one big, overwhelming step. Look at it in baby steps. Sit down and make a list of each tiny goal that you have to accomplish to reach that one big dream. For me that would be buying a Macbook, taking a course in iOS development, passing the course, landing a job in tech, relocating, gaining experience, working on my app idea, etc.. Your dreams unfortunately are not going to happen overnight. Life is a marathon, not a sprint.

3. Define your reason why.

This is very important. WHY are you trying to accomplish this dream? What fuels you to have this particular life? If you are a single mom, busting your butt, working two jobs and going to school.. my guess is that you want a better life for your children. This is your ‘why’. For me, I believe that life wasn’t meant to just pay bills and die.

We are all programmed to live how we are living because that’s what society has created for us. I believe life should be lived more freely. When I am forced to go to a job I hate, work 40 hours for shit money, do the same thing day in and day out.. that is my fuel for change. So my ‘why’ is freedom. Your ‘why’ should always be emotionally based. When you find yourself ready to give up, remember your ‘why’.

4. Surround yourself with positive people.

Nothing will stump your progress like negative people. It would help if you had a mentor or someone that you can call when you are in a slump. Someone that you know only wants the best for you and doesn’t project their own insecurities in to the conversation.

Someone who will provide constructive advice/criticism to help you get closer to your goal. For example, when I tell someone my dream, I usually get something along the lines of “You’re living in a dream world. That’s not how life is. You have to work a 40 hr job and pay bills. That’s just the way it is.” Anyone that has any exposure at all knows that isn’t a true statement. It’s only true if I allow it to be.

Talk to the thousands of people who work remotely and travel most of the year. People who have no awareness of their own dreams will always make yours seem impossible and futile. You will find that most of these people are often miserable with their own lives. Learn to ignore these people and if possible, avoid them.

5. Stay positive!

The situation that seems to happen the most is we establish our goals and start working towards them and then we get discouraged and quit. You have to keep going. No one has gotten to where they want to be without some set backs.

How to think like an Optimist and Think positive

Overview

So what can you do to become a more positive thinker? A few common strategies involve learning how to identify negative thoughts and replacing these thoughts with more positive ones. While it might take some time, eventually you may find that thinking positively starts to come more naturally

Here are four things you can do to think positive.

Avoid Negative Self -Talk

So what can you do to combat these negative self-talk patterns? One way to break the pattern is to start noticing when you have these thoughts and then actively work to change them.

Self-talk involves the things you mentally tell yourself. Think of this as the inner voice inside your mind that analyzes how you perform and interact with the world around you. If your self-talk centers on negative thoughts your self-esteem can suffer.

Stress management expert Elizabeth Scott advises people to start by noticing their thought patterns and then focus on changing these into more positive ones. When you catch yourself engaging in a negative thought, mentally telling yourself to “Stop” can help break the pattern.

Try Humor

It can be tough to stay optimistic when there is little humor or lightheartedness in your life. Even when you are facing challenges, it is important to remain open to laughter and fun.

Sometimes, simply recognizing the potential humor in a situation can lessen your stress and brighten your outlook. Seeking out sources of humor such as watching a funny sitcom or reading jokes online can help you think more positive thoughts.

Cultivate Optimism

Learning to think positively is like strengthening a muscle; the more you use it, the stronger it will become. Researchers believe that your explanatory style, or how you explain events, is linked to whether you are an optimist or a pessimist

Keep Practicing

There is no on-off switch for positive thinking. Even if you are a natural-born optimist, thinking positively when faced with challenging situations can be difficult. Like any goal, the key is to stick with it for the long-term. Even if you find yourself dwelling on negative thoughts, you can look for ways to minimize negative self-talk and cultivate a more optimistic outlook. Finally, do not be afraid to enlist the help of friends and family.

When you start engaging in negative thinking, call a friend or family member who you can count on to offer positive encouragement and feedback.

Remember that to think positively, you need to nurture yourself. Investing energy in things you enjoy and surrounding yourself with optimistic people are just two ways that you can encourage positive thinking in your life.

7 Ways To Improve Your Concentration

There are fairly easy ways to improve your concentration quickly and effectively. Improving your concentration in the long term, though, requires a great amount of effort and time. Even if you practice it for one week or a month, the result won’t be productive if your brain isn’t performing well. If you’re having trouble with concentration, this wiki article may come in handy.

Long-Term Solutions

1. Take Rest

The biggest factor affecting concentration is rest and this has been approved by research. Concentration requires your mind to be calm. But your mind will be scattered if you are not well-rested. Make sure that you get the right amount of sleep at the right time. Also have regular sleep time, and this can be the key step for concentrating.

• Sleeping too much is also not ideal. Oversleeping disrupts your natural rhythm and can make you lazy. Avoid this by having an alarm clock to wake you up in time.

2. Make a Plan

Always have a plan for whatever you are up to. When you sit down to work without a plan, you may easily get caught in activities like checking emails, Instant messaging (chatting), and browsing the web. Without a purpose, you are wasting your time. You’ll find yourself distracted by a variety of nagging thoughts instead of devoting all your attention to one important task.

• To avoid this, make a clear plan that meets your needs beforehand. Take 5 or 10 minutes break in between, and use this time to check email, and then close your inbox and move on to your most important task. When making a plan be sure to allocate enough time for entertainment, studies, and sleep.

3. Do Meditation

The practice of meditation will definitely improve our powers of concentration. Actually, when we try to meditate, it is concentration that is the first thing we need to master. A daily period of meditation gives us the chance to work specifically on concentration techniques.

4. Choose a place of your choice for concentration

Obviously, some places are better than others. School libraries, study lounges, and private rooms are the best. Above all, the place that you choose should not be distracting. Try to stay away from other people if you want to concentrate on your work.

5. If You Want To Master The Art Of Concentration, Develop A Controlled Balance Diet

Overeating creates a huge load of digestion and can make you feel uncomfortable and sleepy. Eating light and healthy meals can help you maximize your ability to concentrate. As Thomas Jefferson said, we rarely regret eating too little. It’s likely you’ll find that you need less food to satisfy yourself than you think.

6. Take Breaks And Mix Up Your Environment

Continuous work in the same place can drive anyone crazy. Taking constant breaks can solve the problem. This will make you active and more interested in your topic.

7. Practice makes Perfect

Concentration is an activity like any other. Clearly the more we practice, the better our concentration will become. We wouldn’t expect to be a strong runner without doing some training. Similarly, concentration is like a muscle, the more we exercise the stronger it becomes.

5 Rules To Get Addicted To Success

Addiction may reflect you a negative habit but what if you get addicted to success. The art of achieving success is easiest than anything until you don’t complicate it by yourself, your addiction to it will help you in moving forward and grabbing your dreams. Chasing success looking for how to achieve it doesn’t mean that you are getting addicted to it.

“Be addict, be addicted to success
Believe me,There’s no Rehab for Success”

Addiction of a thing is adopted when we keep on doing that very thing again and again same as in case of success when you start following a particular thing again and again without any thought of result than that time you can say with proud that you are getting addicted to success. I have five rules to achieve this ultimate addiction of success.

1. Passion = Life

There is a very simple formula of life

“Dreams + Obsession = Passion
  and passion = Life”

If you are a person with no passion, no doubt that you are lifeless. If you really want to see passion then see a person playing his life at ultimate peak because it’s passion which bring them to such height. For getting addicted to success you have to taste passion and have to make it your addiction.

Passion is the thing which let you meet to your dreams. It is that addiction which make you wake up early in the morning and hold you awake late night. You must be thinking now, that before reading this blog you was only worried about the success now a new term arrived “passion”. Don’t get worried you need not to start running for passion now. Passion is the thing that is talked and imagined by you after every 3 seconds. If there is one thing, that only one thing that you meant to discover in your life is your passion.

It is the activity that get you goosebumps all over your body, If you will be able to unlock that passion and make it your obsession, believe me no one can prevent to achieve success. Definitely it will take time to you to understand that passion but once you get addicted to the taste of your passion success will be all yours.

2. Achieve your 4 hours or less goals daily

It’s obvious that you get addicted when you do something again and again then why not success. Taste your success at least twice a day because it’s the only taste which can make you addicted to it. Achieving a big success once in a month will makes the taste of it disappear from your tongue, then why not you divide your success in small parts so that you can taste it every moment. Suppose your dream is to make a successful application which can be broken into design, coding, testing, submission and marketing

“Success is the sum of small Efforts repeated Day In and Day Out”

Divide your day with small goals that would take at most four hours or less to accomplish. By concentrating on small goals you will remain focused to your ultimate goal and that too with step by step achievement. Treat your 4 hours as magic number and accomplishing your small goal will make you feel good by yourself.

3. Burn the fire inside you

If you really want to be addicted to success then let me tell you success is nowhere but inside you. The simplest rule of success principles is “Fire Up!!”. This can be seen by you not more than two words but there is nothing more powerful than these two words. Burning the fire inside you means living your life at peak stage. You must be thinking that how you can do so, trust me it’s very simple, change the way you are talking or change your sitting style or change your dressing style or the way you are standing.

“If the Plan doesn’t work, change the plan not the Goal”

Everything in your life should be done as if a football coach is screaming on you to try again and again and with more passion. When you will start living in your peak stage, Your surroundings and circumstances will change automatically and will attract different people to interact with you. You will become more confident to yourself than you have been ever before.

4. Believe In Yourself

Yes I am addicted to success because I believe in myself, I am the creature of my life. I am the only one who is responsible for my life. The day you start believing like this you will get addicted to your situations. If you think that you want to be an average you will be but when you will start to believe that you are going to be great, definitely you will be.

Just believe yourself and be grateful for the things you are having. In my life when I feel like nobody is listening me next moment I proven to be wrong. People are looking at you It hardly matters that they are telling you or liking your Facebook Post.

5. Live Your Dream

Last but not the least, if you get addicted to your passion, your Fire and your believe then this much addiction is enough to take you to your dream land. Start living in your dream as well said by Walt Disney.

“If you Dream it you can do it”

Each day of your life should be the day of your dream. If it’s not, sorry to say you you moved for the wrong goal. Having short goals will help you to achieve your real goal .

Go ahead, you have all the secrets to become addicted success. Decide your goals, achieve success. Taste success countless in your life so that you become a complete addictive of it no rehab can let you get rid of your this positive addiction. Trust me it’s the best addiction one can ever enjoy, being in you councess still having in an addiction.
